BEST POEM IN THE WORLD!
I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.
But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp-
-The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.
There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice.
Herb, who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
Looking incredibly well.
I nudged Jesus, 'What's the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all these sinners get up here?
God must've made a mistake.'
And why's everyone so quiet,
So somber - give me a clue.
''Hush, child,' He said,
'they're all in shock.
No one expected you.'

Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian,
any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Trying to update!

Well since Google decided to change everything on us for the blogs I have had to restart. I am transferring all my old stuff to this one! I will still keep the link on my FB until I have it all transferred, so everyone can still read it. I am trying to stay current with this. So please be patient.

Here Today Gone Tomorrow

        What is love to you?  Something to abandon?

        I still exist, I still feel.

        I am not someone to choose at random.

        I am a woman, I need something real.

        

        I am losing hope and faith in you

        Can I depend that you are true?

        

        Why don't you speak say what you think.

        Don't you know I can be gone in a blink?

        

        I love you yes but don't make me worry.

        And no I'm not in a rush or hurry.

        

        I need words I need attention

        Don't make me wait with apprehension.

        

        I may be here now so don't take me for granted

        I want to stay I want to be planted.

        

        My love is not something to steal or borrow

        Because I may not be here anymore tomorrow.

Lil Brother

A present of twinkling charms and open arms.

With honest eyes, not afraid to hide.

Loyal and true until your skin turned blue.

With youth, an admirable pest,
that never took under the best.

Hidden snickers and jokes,
Given laughter, and tickling pokes.

Love in true places, and things.
You now have your own wings.

Fly little brother Fly!
Go beyond the Skies!

Your worth is greater than the skies above!
But never forget your sister's love!

Angels Over Me

When darkness creeps upon me,
    Like looming clouds of doom.

I remember there are Angels.
    Angels who guard over you.

They give you strength and love,
    And watch you daily thorough.

So storms of grief and pain
    Will always go away.

So I look up to the clouds
    And I remember where their taken from,

The heavens of tomorrow!
The heavens of today!
The heavens of no sorrow!
Some day I'm on my way!

Wanting Always Glory

It is cloudy outside but I see
    Light shining through!!

I get the sense of a pathway,
    Something New!!

There is concern but no fear,
    Because God is here!

I love to rejoice and praise him!
    His blessings just shine like gems!!

I feel exhilarated when I walk and talk
    With him alone!
He gives me peace within because
    of one white stone!

Salvation I have praises to him above,
    Because of his glorious son's love!

I hope to always be grateful and thankful for God!
    I hope to always be with him as onward I trod!
