Our Heavenly Goal

Oh Father, how we need the every hour of every day.
'Cast thy burdens at thy feet', ye ask of us.
So through obedience, we must kneel and pray.

We must endure and have faith,
That all we ask is granted in some way!

Never as we intend,
Save your children you will always defend.
'Vengence is mine!', you say.
So we must submit to your way.

'You are our strength, refuge!'
Thankfully this helps us to 'fear not',
Even though the earth changes,
We should not be fraught.

For through your blood we are bought,
As your children for all eternity.

Yet we are unworthy of this love,
We must always strive for it.
To obtain eternity from above.

For as we live a light we must become.
Without spot or blemish.
For at the judgment we accumulate this sum.

Since being 'lukewarm' you abhor,
Eternity is what we always strive for.
