Looking up

Hey everyone! Sorry its taken me so long to post. Been REALLY busy lately. So here is a poem I wrote yesterday. Its kind of a praise and worship type of poem! Hope you enjoy! God Bless!

You are the center of my hope,
   the guidance of my soul!
You give me the strength that I need,
   When my path in life creates rocks and holes!
Thank you for your light!
   Thank you for your might!
Without your awesome love,
   Daylight would turn to night!
You are my life!
   You are my everything!
I will always look to you,
   No matter what life brings!
I will always love you!
   And too you my heart will always sing!

Giving

To give is to receive!
To give is to believe!

In God and all his promises!

Give without wanting!
Give without flaunting!
Give just to Give!
Give  to just live!!
Life to its fullest!

Giving should be your habit every day!
Giving is going by God's way!

Give to not receive!
Give and don't deceive!
Giving is living God's love!

Testing Seasons

God Blesses us in many ways,
  And thankful I am for the blessing of you today!

God brought you to me for a reason,
  Its up to us to test it through seasons!

I have faith in God's choice,
  So let us both give thanks and rejoice!!

School Starts

Smiles and giggles
    Laughter and wiggles!

Lightbulbs glowing
    Thinking caps knowing!

Questions always asked
    With energy running fast!

School is in the air
    Teachers beware!!

Forgiving his Disguise!

Interjected demands from a peaceful moment!

self absorption is the key to his wants!

That began with a good intent,

And ended with her heart spent!

A pompous assumption that he fabricated!

Fabricated to disguise the truth of his goal!

But to use God as his fabrication was his mistake!

Because how could you rick his love to forsake?!!

He forgets that God sees all, see past his fraudulent lies!

See''s past his cloak of disguise!

Yet she still forgives and for him prays!

Prays for the salvation of his soul and end of his bad ways!

Dont Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high;
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit.
