A hidden password here, a special name there.

Little ways to hide how much I care!

You know I’m not that mushy in fact its hard for me to show,

The love I have for you ,

you ought know!

I try in secret ways to express my care,

And I know sometimes its like I’m never there.

But I promise you I’m always near,

that shoulder you need for a shedded tear!

I will never be that far,

just a drive in your car.

Please don’t hesitate I will be there!

Your not just my little sissy your my best friend,

the one to pick you up with that extra hand.

No matter how you stumble or mistakes you make,

I love you beyond that I will never judge or forsake!

Even though sometimes I’m stern and tend to act the boss,

Please know its from loving concern and I’m not that cross.

Never think that I’m not grateful of your being born,

Or your existence I totally scorn!

Your my little sister the one I will always defend!

I love you my little sister, my always best friend!!

The Cutting Age

Disconnected smiles,
   Fronted with fake styles!

Thoughtless thoughts,
  Spoken with words bought!

Wasted time doodling,
  People always googling!

Needle posted actions,
  With Cataclysmic reactions!
So.. SO many retractions caused!

  Yet no lessons learned,
We still cause reality yearned!

  Conversations of yesteryear lost,
We are all still not realizing at what cost!

  The Golden Rule? Whats that?
What is future generations gonna arrive at?

  'Texting is the Golden Age'!
Complete words are lost on a hand written page!

  Technology is soaring,
Civilization is flooring!

Leap

Fear prevents me;
Fear is what inhibits me,

Fear of past hurts reocurring,
Fear of losing whats yearning.

How to take that step, and release that breath?
How to give in, and believe to begin?

Can I trust again?
Will I be hurt again?
Can I believe in a future without a new past of pain?

How to jump again?
How to believe once more?
How to have faith and wait for whats in store?

Wait! But I am a survivor!
I have hurt more!
I have taken that step before!

I can do it again and begin!
After all life is about learning not to always win!

True Love

Love can always conquer
Whatever discord brings
And love can also cover
A multitude of things

Don't you under estimate
What love can ever do
For love is God eternal
And His love can renew

What is cold and lifeless
Now lost all hope and died
For love can breathe new meaning
And give it back new life

Please don't give up on love
When it seems that all is lost
For there is always hope
If we're prepared to pay the cost

For love is always worth it
No matter how much the price
For love will be much stronger
When we trust in Jesus Christ

So let God have full reign
Let Him live within your heart
Then you will know true love
For this He will impart

Light of Hope

Just when darkness closes in,
  And it feels like your whole world is at an end.

Just when the curtain falls and so do you,
  And evil covers all thats true!

Just when you think you've taken your last breath,
  And your treatments are drawing you closer to death.

Just when your strength fails from the last blow,
  And as your knees go the bruises show.

Or when your heart is breaking for the last time,
  And you have no more love or faith in man kind.

Thats when a sliver of hope appears,
  A light so dim yet it relieves all your fears!

It is small in size but shies SO bright!
  It nums your pain and dims your sight!

It shines on to show you a new way,
  Opening new doors to a new day!

Just think, that tiny sliver, that tiny light,
  Is Gods power overcoming your night!

For God it takes just a pinprick to help you cope,
  But to your faith it is the Light of Hope!

Hey everyone! Sorry its taken me so long to post. Been REALLY busy lately. So here is a poem I wrote yesterday. Its kind of a praise and worship type of poem! Hope you enjoy! God Bless!

   the guidance of my soul!
You give me the strength that I need,
   When my path in life creates rocks and holes!
Thank you for your light!
   Thank you for your might!
Without your awesome love,
   Daylight would turn to night!
You are my life!
   You are my everything!
I will always look to you,
   No matter what life brings!
I will always love you!
   And too you my heart will always sing!

Giving

To give is to receive!
To give is to believe!

In God and all his promises!

Give without wanting!
Give without flaunting!
Give just to Give!
Give  to just live!!
Life to its fullest!

Giving should be your habit every day!
Giving is going by God's way!

Give to not receive!
Give and don't deceive!
Giving is living God's love!
